Sita La Rose Elliott

Sita McDaniel Elliott; 63 years old, passed from this life, to her eternal rest on the afternoon of Sunday, June 23, 2024 after an illness.

 In 1966 Sita confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior while attending Corinthian Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. There she was also baptized. Later she moved her membership to Spirit of Love Center where she served until illness prevented her from attending. Sita attended and graduated PRP High School. She was best known for her big, contagious smile, and beautiful, strong singing voice. Sita could stand flat-footed and belt out songs untiringly, and the Spirit of God would move throughout the sanctuary.

 Sita was born November 14, 1960, to Rosa Ella and George T. McDaniel, Sr.; both who preceded her in death. Sita was the youngest daughter of six children. Her brother, George T. McDaniel, Jr., and sister, Melesa D. Groves also preceded her in death. She was married to William D. Elliott, Sr. Although to this union, no children were birthed, Sita and William adopted and raised daughters, Sy'Niyah Elliott, April Simmons, and son, Fred Elliott. She also reared and nurtured many other children.

 Sita also leaves to cherish her memory, Bobby Ray McDaniel, Sr. (brother), Kenneth L. McDaniel (brother), and Reginald L. McDaniel, Sr. (brother), and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

 She will be dearly missed.
