Shirley Mae Ricketts-Quinn, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 27, 1950 to the late Andrew and Virginia Johnson- Ricketts.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Quinn and her brother Robert Ricketts.
Shirley is survived by four brothers and their spouses, Albert (Geraldine) Johnson, Earl (Glendalene) Ricketts, Andrew (Shirley) Ricketts, Rev. Larry (Marie) Ricketts; a special cousin and caregiver Joyce Lynn Ricketts and a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish her memory.
There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Shirley at 11:00 am Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1472 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40210. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
