Shirley Meyer

Shirley Jane Meyer, age 86, entered into rest Friday April 9, 2010. She was born in Louisville Ky. on December 16, 1924 to Robert John Shaw and Cleo May Higgins Shaw. She was a graduate of Louisville Girl's High School and was voted "most attractive girl", a former member of the Midlane Presbyterian Church, and participated with her husband and son in the Brigade of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Roy Clancy, Sr., step-sisters Martha Clancy and Mary Clancy, and step-brother David Clancy.

Shirley Jane is survived by her husband Charles W. Meyer, son John M. Meyer (Joyce) and grandson Jesse J. Meyer. Also surviving is her sister Joyce (Ray) Redmon, half brother John Wayne Clancy, step-sister Ann McAllister, step-brother Roy Clancy Jr., many nieces and nephews, and her life-long friend Dorothy Busch.
