Shirley Kelsch

Shirley Kelsch, age 87 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born on June 28, 1935 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Tillman and Ollie Moyers. She was a member of the Living Church of God of Southern Indiana. She retired in 1988 from the Jefferson County Board of Education as an administrative assistant. She is preceded in death by her husband, James K. Kelsch; sisters, Mabel Cupp, Betty Cuff, Bennie McChesney, Gail Smith; and brothers, Warren Moyers, Lewis Moyers and Hollis Moyers.

Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Keesaer (Bob); sons, Jon Kelsch and Tyler Kelsch (Janet); grandchildren, Olivia Keesaer (Henry Gentle), Robert Keesaer (McKenna), Brooke Kelsch and Mark Kelsch; brother, Richard L. Moyers (Mina); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Shirley's life will follow at 4pm.
