Shirley J. (Clifford) Holland, 76, of New Albany, passed away November 29, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.
Shirley was born to the late Merle and Golda Mae (Wittenmyer) Clifford on June 15, 1936 in Sandborn, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers Ralph, Harold, Glen, and Wayne Clifford, and two sisters, Betty Walters and Vera Wall.
She is survived by her brother, Don Clifford; sister, Virginia Stremming; daughters, Patricia Van Arsdale and Debra Holland; and sons, Robert Holland, Charles Holland (Cathy) and Steven Holland; four grandchildren, Dustin Chase (Andrea), Chandra Davis (Jason), Junior and Nicole Holland; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Davis; and Parker, Liliana and Garrett Chase.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM on Monday, December 3, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation (2908 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY 40206).
