Shirley A. Goatley, 73, passed away on October 11, 2023. She worked for the state for 34 years before retiring. Shirley was a devoted Jehovah Witness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert And Jenner Marshall, Sr. and her brothers, Tony Marshall and Bruce Johnson.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, LaNette Marshall, Tiffany Goatley, Lorenzo (LaTonya) Goatley and Tony (Lisa) Goatley; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Tana) Marshall, Curtis (Janie) Marshall, Linda Marshall and Phyllis (Yefim) Dubrovensky and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-7pm.
There will be a memorial in person service on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 1377 South 20th Street, Louisville, KY, 40210 beginning at 2pm. The services will be Zoomed,
