Shirley Lee (Fawbush) Evans, 75, of Clarksville, Indiana, died on Sunday, February 16, 2014.
Shirley was born on August 26, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leslie Richard & Susie (Johnson) Fawbush. She was united in marriage to Wayne Stroud Evans on December 16, 1955 and to this union brought four children to bless their home.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Evans; children, Janet Hubert, Diana Evans, William Evans (Tammy), & John Evans (Billie); siblings, Mary Money (Bill), Norma Money, Eva Amos (Gene), Claude Fawbush, Leslie Fawbush Jr. (Joan), & Ralph Fawbush (Ann); 11 grandchildren; & 13 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Snoddy; brothers, George & Charles Fawbush.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and Wednesday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Her Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 1 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
