Shirley Ann Drexler, a beacon of independence and nurturing spirit, peacefully departed from this world on March 20, 2025, on the very day following her 79th birthday. Born on March 19, 1946, she graced the lives of those around her with unwavering strength and a profound care for her family.

Shirley’s academic journey culminated in May 1981 when she proudly received her degree in Accounting Technology from Jefferson Community College. As an adult student who achieved a remarkable 4.0 GPA with the aid of a merit scholarship, she exemplified the virtues of dedication and perseverance. Her accomplishment of graduating from college, perhaps her proudest achievement, illustrated not only her commitment to personal growth but also her enduring belief in the power of education.

Throughout her career, Shirley dedicated 26 remarkable years to the accounting field, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and diligence that inspired many. Her colleagues and clients alike recognized her expertise and the meticulous attention she brought to her work, marking her as a distinguished figure within her profession.

Beyond her professional accolades, Shirley was a woman of rich passions and deep affections. She shared an indelible bond with her cherished poodle, Tammi, who provided companionship and joy, further illustrating her love for animals. Tammy was more than a pet; she was a source of comfort in Shirley's life.

Above all, Shirley Ann Drexler will be fondly remembered for her strong-willed nature intertwined with a caring disposition. While her independent spirit guided her through life’s endeavors, it was her boundless love for her family that defined her heart. Those privileged enough to know her can reflect upon her legacy—a testament to resilience, intellect, and unconditional support for her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Drexler, Sr. and Virginia Drexler.

Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons, Wayne (Lori) Little, David (Kellie) Little and Christopher (Donna) Little; 7 grandchildren, brothers, John (Lydia) Drexler, Jr. and Paul Drexler and her beloved poodle, Tammy.

Her presence will be sorely missed, yet her memory will linger in the hearts of all who were touched by her remarkable life.
