Shirley "Donielle" (Barnett) Donaldson, 42, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. She enjoyed ministering to the elderly through her work as a CNA and was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Donielle liked visiting the beach and deeply loved her family, cats, and the Lord.
She was born on August 12, 1979, in Louisville, Kentucky. Donielle is survived by her husband of 24 years, Travis Donaldson; sons, Isaac Donaldson (Madelynn) and Cohen Donaldson; parents, Rick and Penny Donaldson; and friends, Mike and April Bradford, Chat and Treasa Flood, Roxanne Watts, and Joyce Yarnell.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Oak Grove Baptist Church (10006 National Turnpike, Louisville, KY 40118) and on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
