Shirley Ann (Miles) Davis

Shirley Ann (Miles) Davis, 86, dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was a longtime member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church and had been an employee of Great Clark School Corporation. She loved being outdoors, spending time with her family, and crocheting.

She was born on September 24, 1934, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Malcolm and Thelma (Breeden) Miles. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ronald Joe Davis; children, Linda Wilson Landrum, Joseph Wilson, Debbie Davis Stidham, Ronnetta Davis Goben, and Robert Davis; sisters, Joyce Hall and Ginny Spond; brother, Mickey Miles; grandchildren, Shawn, Linda, Marshall, Travis, Christy, Chantay, Rodney, Joseph, Skylar, Angela, Stephanie, and Michael; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with cremation to follow according to Shirley's wishes.
