Shirley Carole Thomas (Loyless), 78 passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. She was a beautiful and extremely intelligent person who was deeply loved by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Mary Loyless; her sister, Jaquita Wilson; and her brother, David Loyless. She will be missed by her family and especially her three daughters who she singlehandedly raised.
She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Mayer (Norman), Alicia Martin (Eddie) and Leslie Seaton (Mike); and by her grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Zach.
Services will be private.
As Shirley was a lifelong animal lover, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arrow Fund, an organization aiding abused animals, at P.O. Box 6655, Louisville, Kentucky 40206.
