Shirley Mae (Biller) Buehner

Shirley Mae (Biller) Buehner, 88, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. She retired from Indiana University Southeast after 27 years of service in the Financial Aid Department. After retirement, Shirley remained active and began working as a hostess at McDonald's on Hubbards Lane. She was a longtime and active member at Concordia Lutheran Church in Louisville and a current member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany.

She was born on July 11, 1933, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Frederick and Ella (Faszholz) Biller. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Buehner; and brother-in-law, Larry Milhouse.

Shirley is survived by her children, Pamela Krause (Perry), Timothy Buehner (Marcia), and Stephanie Donovan (Cary); identical twin sister, Betty Milhouse; grandchildren, Brittney Barnett (Larry), Tiffany Meyer (Bryan), Brooke Donovan Smith (Kevin), Grant (Savanna), Royce, and Sloane Donovan, and Katherine, Reid, and Cole Buehner; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Ella, Parker, Ethan, Dezi, Elias, and Luke.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Grace Lutheran Church (1787 Klerner Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
