Shirley Ann Sutherland Boyatt

Shirley Ann Sutherland Boyatt joined Jesus in Heaven on February 3, 2022.
She was born on December 5, 1937 in Buckner, KY to the late Ernest and Grace (Thompson) Sutherland. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll, her baby daughter, and her siblings – Ernest Jr., Doris, Jimmy, Oza and Teeny.
Shirley was kind, giving, thoughtful, gentle and loved her family. Her faith was phenomenally strong and her love of Jesus was her daily guide. She will be missed tremendously by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but we take comfort knowing she is in her Heavenly Home.
She is survived by her brother Ray Sutherland (Sharon) and many nieces and nephews in the Ruble, Sutherland, Rogers and Apple families.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 10th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A private family funeral service will be held and she will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
