Sherry Wood, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
She was born on June 20, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Emmitt and Betty (Denham) McWilliams. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Denver Wood, Jr. and brother, Mark McWilliams. Sherry will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; she will be missed by many, especially by her pup, Cindy.
Sherry is survived by her loving sons, Christopher (Heather) Wood and Todd Wood, grandchildren, Jessica Wood, Michael Wood and Ethan Carter, great grandchildren, Braiden Wood and Aubrey June Wood, and her siblings, Steve McWilliams, Cathy (Steve) Rickert and Craig McWilliams.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
