Sherry Jean Ware
November 18, 1958 — July 4, 2021
Sherry Jean Ware, 62, a Jeffersonville, Indiana native and resident of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday July 4th 2021.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Samuel Allen Mackison and Emma Jean Mackison, and ex-husband and dear friend Donald Ray Ware.
She is survived by her brother Timothy Mackison (Linda), her children Donnie Ware, Heather Ware (Mike), Kimberly Eden, and Kevin Roby, her grandchildren Victoria Ware (Cory), Jenna Roby, Nicholas Kelly, Sheridan Kelly (Patrick), and Michael Ware, 6 great grand children, and her oldest and dearest friends David Leslie (and family) and Dana Elliot.
Sherry was last employed by Baptist Hospital East and spoke often of her enjoyment at the 13 years she spent there. Sherry never met a stranger she couldn't talk to and was always on the phone chatting with whom ever had the free time. She was happiest surrounded by her friends and family. Her love of being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was the highlight of her life. The joy and love she felt for those around her was immeasurable.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 3 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive), with cremation services to follow.
