Sherry Lynn Mohr

Sherry Lynn Mohr , 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Sherry was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, Nanny, and WeeWee. She was funny, loveable and never met a stranger. Sherry enjoyed spending time crafting and made the best banana pudding. She enjoyed facetiming her grandsons and was their biggest supporter in Michael's robotics and Gavin's Hockey. Most importantly, she loved her husband and her family. Sherry will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on November 20, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kenneth and Barbara (Hibbs) Burks. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Burks; and grandmother, Mamie Green.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Charles Mohr; son, Michael (Lauren) Hutchinson, Jr.; mother, Barbara Burks; sisters, Cheryl Kellems, Kimberly (Ernie) Calvert; brother, Kenneth Burks; grandchildren, Michael Hutchinson, III, Gavin Hutchinson; Brother-In-Laws, Tom (Debra) Gray and Brian (Nikki) Mohr; nieces, Cecilia and Destiney Calvert; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
