Sherry Ann Atkins

Sherry Ann Atkins, 63, of New Salisbury, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Sherry was a loving mother, mammaw, daughter, sister, and friend who loved her family with all she had. She always loved going to the beach and spending hours upon hours at the beach. She loved NASCAR and her Louisville Cardinals. She was a proud sponsor to many people in AA. Sherry will truly be missed by anyone and everyone that had the pleasure and honor of meeting her.

She was born on September 20, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Joan (Huebner) Leslie. She is preceded in death by her Father, William Leslie, Husband, Mark David Atkins, Sibling, Terry Lee.

Sherry is survived by her loving family, mother, Joan C. Leslie; sons, Danny L. (Ginger) Craven, II, Kyle E. (Ebony) Peerce, Sr., and Joshua Atkins; grandchildren, Brooke Craven, Ty Craven, Kyle Peerce, Jr., Andraia Peerce, Addison Atkins, and Pypar Atkins; siblings, Terri Lynn, Brian, Devie, Martin, and Todd. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
