Shelly Rene Eyre, 53, of Louisville, Ky., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018. She was born on Sept. 5, 1965, to the late John Dennis French and Diana French. She was a graduate of Ballard High School, class of 1983. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Dennis French.
Shelly is survived by husband, Darren Eyre; children, Gaven Dennis Eyre, Mellissa Eyre Yeagle (Derrick B. Yeagle) and Christopher DeRay Eyre (Morgan Chinn Eyre); as well as grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Yeagle, Norah Catherine Yeagle, Lyla Raye Eyre and Remy Elyse Eyre.
A gathering to celebrate Shelly's life will be 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial to the St. Joseph Children's Home, 2823 Frankfort Ave., Louisville, KY 40206.
