Sheldon M. Brown, 61, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Sheldon was an Army veteran and member of Rockford View Baptist Church in Louisville.
Sheldon was born on November 15, 1950 in Louisville to the late Albon B. and Loretta C. (Lutrell) Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 33 years, Melanne P. (Collard) Brown; children, Paul M. Brown (Kay), Athena Pendleton (Jeremy); brother, Larry W. Brown (Michelle); grandchildren, Benjamen and Jacob Pendleton.
His visitation will be from 12 to 8 PM on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Indiana Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
