Sheila F. Hornback

Sheila F. Hornback, 65, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. Sheila loved the outdoors, from landscaping and gardening to enjoying the birds. She was also known for her love of crafting. Sheila was deeply devoted to her family. She cherished all of her grandchildren and was looking forward to the arrival of two more great-grandchildren.

She was born on November 10, 1957, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Clyde and Dorothy (Devore) Pennington.

Sheila is survived by her loving spouse, Alan Hornback; her beloved dog, Bo; daughter, Stacy (Travis) Dorman; sisters, Kathy Cox and Bonnie Devore; grandchildren Lexi (Christopher) Matthews and Hailey (Cody) Razer; great-grandchild, Jaxon Matthews; two great-grandchildren on the way; and aunt, Florine Shockley.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in honor of Sheila's wishes.
