Sharon Kaye Stephens

Sharon Kaye Stephens, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Sharon was a loving Wife, Mom, Mama Kaye Kaye, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved baking and cooking and will always be remembered for her fudge. She was always checking on her family and neighbors. Her favorite day was mother and daughter day. Sharon will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on July 15, 1949 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to E.C. and Blanche (Light) Stapleton. She is preceded in death by her Father, E.C. Stapleton, Mother, Blanche Stapleton, and Sister, Jackie Earls.

Sharon is survived by her loving Husband of 52 years, Larry Ray Stephens, Son, Michael Blake and Daughter, Heather Blake; Sister, Tammy (Buddy) Pierson and Brother, Billy Stapleton; Nephew, J.R. (Nikki) Pierson, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
