Sharon Lee Moffett

Sharon Lee Moffett (nee Phillips), 88, of Sellersburg, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 2, 2023. Born July 9, 1934, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Frank Phillips and Garland Flickinger (nee Miller). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, Paul Moffett, Jr.; brothers, Ted and Darrell Phillips; and sisters, Mary Feaser and Joyce Stabler.
She is survived by her daughters, Alison Brock and Amy (Kevin) Kastensmidt; grandchildren, Derek Emerson, Autumn (Travis) Jones, Trenton (Cassidy) Kastensmidt, and Carson (Hannah) Kastensmidt; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ellory; sister, Connie Platt of Fort Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon loved her hometown of Fort Wayne and her beloved Central Tigers, where she was a majorette. She was a longtime member of Eastside Christian Church, of which she was a founding member and a member of the Rebekah Circle. She was an executive secretary at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne before marrying and starting a family. She was an avid Scrabble player and could beat anybody. She enjoyed crafting and gave her crafts out as Christmas gifts every year. Her grandchildren lovingly called her the "Pajama Grandma" for the pajamas she always gave at Christmas.
The family is very thankful to Green Valley Care Center for their many years of loving care. As per Sharon's wishes, there will be a private burial in her beloved hometown of Fort Wayne.
