Sharon Harris, 70, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Sharon was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at the casino and gaming on her tablet.
She was born on May 1, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Earl and Hazel Loser. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Hazel Loser; and grandchild, Kameron "Pooter."
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Kim Knowland, Daniel R. Knowland, Sr., and Richard Knowland; brothers, Dallas Harris, Darrell Harris, and Donald (Malinda) Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen, and a memorial gathering will be held in her honor on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, IN 47150).
