Sharon Hale Jones

Sharon Hale Jones, 65, of Radcliff, KY passed away on August 20, 2014. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. Sharon was a sober member of AA. She believed every life was worth fighting for. Sharon was a gifted cook, had a great sense of humor and a smile from ear to ear. She was very creative and full of life. Sharon was a hairdresser, and enjoyed doing hair at Rockford Manor Nursing Home.

She shared a birthday with Elvis, and loved his music dearly. Her greatest love was her family and friends.

Sharon was born on January 8, 1949, in Louisville to the late William Young and Margaret Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Babbage.

Survivors include sons, Kevin Hale, Keith Hale, Kenneth Hale, Kirk Hale; brothers Dudley Young and Dave Babbage; sisters, Candace Green, Teresa Hyatt; grandchildren, Kristy Hart, Avante Unser, Alante Unser, Shawn Burton, Austin Montgomery, Kirk Hale Jr., Christopher Hale, and Dakota Hale; great-grandchild, Jasmine Jones; many loving extended family members and friends; and (love is forever), Husband, Bobby.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral Ceremony will be held Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be 10:00 am Monday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
