Sharon Embry

Sharon Rae Embry, 63, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on July 7, 2011. Sharon loved music and dancing. She never met a stranger and enjoyed being around people.

Sharon was born on May 31, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Clayton E. and Eileen M. (Hirt) Embry.

She is survived by her loving brother, Terry Embry and his wife, Kathy, of New Albany; cousins, Ronnie Woods and his wife, Lana, Timmy Woods and his wife, Linda, and Melinda Woods, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; nephew, Earl Whitworth and his wife, Carrie; and great-niece, Karlee Whitworth.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 12 PM on Monday at in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

Donations in Sharon's memory may be made to United Cerebral Palsy (1660 L Street, Northwest, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20036).
