Sharon Kay (Barker) Dalton

Sharon Kay (Barker) Dalton, 80, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She retired from the New Albany Township Assessor's office and was a member at Harvest Time Ministries in Floyds Knobs. Sharon loved going shopping and working on scrapbooks.

She was born on August 26, 1943, in New Albany, to John "Kelvin" and Louise (Ramsey) Barker. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dalton; daughter, Kelli Fuller; and siblings, Norma Herman and Buzzy Barker.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hammett (James); son-in-law, Eddie Fuller; grandchildren, Brandi (Billy), Nick (Holly), Cody, Travis, Joe, Jesse; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Abby), Trenton, Dayton, Jackson, Kaylee, Ava; and great-great-granddaughter, Adalynn.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
