Shane Lee Koebel

Shane Lee Koebel, 30, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Shane was exceptional athlete and played football in High School. He Graduated from Fairdale High School in 2010. Shane enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and going hiking. He was an avid University of Louisville fan. Shane a great sense of humor and would always getting a laugh out of those around him. Shane will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was born on October 25, 1992 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marc and Suzanne (Lutts) Koebel. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Suzanne Koebel, Grandfather, Larry Lutts, Uncle, Alan Koebel, and Aunt, Wanda Lutts.

Shane is survived by his Sister, Myste Koebel (Sisavahn), Father, Marc Koebel, Children, Kaiden Koebel, Maddie Koebel, and Charlie Howard, Grandmother, Dixie (Glen) Pavey, Niece, Anna Woodson, Uncles, John Lutts, Keith Koebel, Wayne Koebel, and Dale Koebel, Aunts, Gerri (Tim) Williamson, Denise (Kevin) Gravelle, and Laura (David) Wiseheart. Shane also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel.
