Sean Matthew King, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 26, 2022. He was born January 29, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Joyce (Moorman) King. Sean attended Churchill Park School and graduated proudly. He spent many years as a resident of Radcliff Kentucky as well. Sean received a birth injury and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy as a baby. Doctors told his parents that he wasn't expected to walk or do much of anything. He surpassed expectations and walked and left footprints on the hearts of those who knew him. Sean was also preceded in death by a nephew, Andrew Dever and both sets of grandparents.
Sean is survived by his heartbroken family. Including sisters, Judy Harryman (Garry), Connie King Cooper (Tom), Amy Scott Collins (Danny) and Mary Crawley (Jarod Forbes). He is also survived by his niece, Whitney Davis (Devlyn Black) that he had an especially close relationship to and doted on "Wit-wee" since she was born. Also surviving are a host of nephews, nieces, Uncles, Aunts and extended family.
If you needed a smile, hug or hand shake… Sean would give you one. He never met a stranger he didn't like and a stranger always liked Sean. Although, he was nonverbal he would always let you know that he loved you. Be it a "fancy" high-five handshake, bear hug or smile. Sean enjoyed people, Mountain Dew, WWE Wrestling and Westerns in that order.
Ride on cowboy! High-ho, Silver! Away!
