Scott Allan Traver, 53, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. He was a very talented guitarist since the age of 8 and went on tour for the first time at 15 years old with the band Stage Craft. Scott was formerly the lead guitarist for Big Bone Lyck. He was a family man who enjoyed cooking and loved his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russell and Rosa Bullard; and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Zelma Traver.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Pieratt) Traver; children, Tiffany Clifton, Tyler Traver, and Tayler Traver (Melissa); mother, Marilyn Haworth (Donald); father, Charles "Chuck" Traver (Marla); sisters, Robin Maluck (Keith) and Megan Traver; and grandchildren, Jordan, Jaden, Brentlee, Karter and Olivia.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
