Scott Douglas Marrillia

Scott Douglas Marrillia, 58, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. He was a proud member of Local 502 Plumbers, Pipefitters & Local Service Technicians and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and working on the farm.

He was born on March 6, 1964, in New Albany, Indiana, to Ida (Johns) Marrillia and the late Clyde Marrillia. In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by his daughter, Leah Marrillia.

Along with his mother, Scott is survived by his daughter, Hope Marrillia; sister, Lisa McCoy; brother, Kevin Marrillia; as well as two nephews and many good friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Scott will be laid to rest privately at Lanesville Protestant Cemetery.
