Scott Emerson, 55, passed away on March 9, 2014. He was very creative working with his hands, playing the drums, listening to music, loved animals and playing with his grandchildren. He loved gathering with his family and friends, especially on the 4th of July.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Herbie) Emerson, Nicole (Chris) Stevenson and John Hutson, IV, step-children, Robert Lawson and Christie Heil; grandchildren, Ava, Daylan, Tyler, Landen and Mason; mother, Rosetta Stone; fiance Colleen Mayer; brothers, William (Dawn) Emerson, Jr. and James Winter; sister, Jill Doyle; nieces, Rachel and Kinsey Emerson and multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial gathering will be Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 3pm-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY).
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
