Sarah Suzanne Clay

Sarah Suzanne Clay, 42, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Sarah was a very caring person, who loved people. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially outdoors on Patoka Lake. She was also devoted to her job as a caregiver for young children. Above all, Sarah loved her family and spending quality time together. She will be greatly missed.

She was born on January 20, 1981, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to David and Sherry Small.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Russell Clay; daughter, Rhiannon Tackett; son, Gannon Small; stepson, Dalton Clay; stepdaughter, Kaylie (Sam) Hannon; mother, Sherry Seewer; father, David Small; sister, Aimee Harmon; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Sarah's memory be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (550 S. First Street, Louisville, KY 40202).
