Sandra Jane Withers, 66, passed away on September 13, 2023.
Sandra Jane Withers was born July 1, 1957, to Frank Sr, and Sarah Withers In Providence, IN. She was welcomed also by a sister, Sue Catherine Coleman and brother, Frank Jr. All have preceded her in this journey. The family relocated to Louisville, Kentucky after her father's military retirement. She was baptized and raised up in Church while participating in various ministries including her love of singing. She graduated from Louisville Male High School. Then she graduated from University of Louisville with an MBA and was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. Sandra Moved to California and resided there for several years, where she continued to follow the Lord and sung in her Church choir and gospel groups. She returned to Kentucky in 2004 and provided care for her father and brother until their passings. She continued her Christian walk at Canaan Christian Church as a member of the choir, Sunday School and usher board. She was on the path of retirement from her position at American Red Cross, until she had open heart surgery. One month later, Sandra's work on earth ended on September 13, 2023.
She is survived by her nephews, nieces, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be Monday, September 25, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-6pm with a celebration of Sandra's life beginning at 6pm.
