Sandra Kathlean Wade

Sandra Kathlean Wade, 64, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Sandy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Sandy was an animal lover who provided a loving home to her many pets.

She was born on September 9, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ollie and Elo (Meffert) Bratcher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Harold and Elo Jean Bratcher.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Lee Wade; sisters, Karen (Terry) Ray, Tamara Brewer, and Beverly Bratcher; step-son, Jonathan Wade; step-daughter, Krystal Wade; mother-in-law, Loretta Wade; sister-in-law, Debbie Newman; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cremation was chosen per Sandy's wishes and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family requests that contributions in Sandy's memory be made to an animal shelter of choice.
