Sandra "Sandy" Boehringer, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
She was born on March 4, 1951 in San Francisco, California to Lt Col Walter and Edith (Hinton) Smith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Randel Boehringer, Sr.
Sandy is survived by her loving children, Jennifer S. (Robert) Willen, Randel (Amanda) Boehringer, Jr., Tammy (Mark Brown) Boehringer, and Rebecca Boehringer, grandchildren, Wynter Willen, Tyler Boehringer, Randel Boehringer, III, Grant Boehringer, Lillian Alcorn, Sidney Alcorn, Zakiya Boehringer, Kenyon Alvis, and Keyanna Alvis, and her siblings, Susan Burch and Bill (Nancy) Smith.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating her life will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
