Sandra Jean Barron, 84, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Sandy enjoyed gardening and reading. She had a passion for cooking and was gifted at quilting. She was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Louisville.

She was born on December 9, 1937, in Jamestown, New York, to the late Fred and Phyllis (Connelly) Freeman. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roland "Rudy" Barron, Jr.; son, Steven Barron; and brother, Frederick Freeman III.

Sandy is survived by her loving sons, Bradley (Christy) Barron and William Barron; sister, Sally (Jim) Floros; grandchildren, Daniel Barron, Joshua Barron, and Zachary Barron; and great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Zoey, and Zayne.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane. New Albany, Indiana). Her Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 North Gate Road, Madison, Indiana).
