Steele, Samuel Vance Jr., 64, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023.
Born August 31, 1958, he was a son of Gloria and Samuel Vance Steele, Sr.
Samuel attended Waggoner High School, Centre College, as well as Kilgore College in Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and was a devoted member of the AA family. He loved playing poker, and had a few big wins in his day!
He was a loving husband and father to his wife, Vicki Steele, and his sons, Sam and Max Steele. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Kelli Silliman; his stepdaughter, Hope Mattei; his stepsons, Delquan Thomas and Jake Schiphorst; his nephews, Bo, Sam and Zack; and his beloved pets, Gus, Lucy and Chloe.
A memorial gathering will be 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Bristol Bar and Grill, 1321 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40204.
