Samantha Christine Daugherty

Samantha Daugherty, 46, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. Samantha was a courageous, outspoken, and generous person, who loved her family. She truly loved life and enjoyed traveling, singing, and dancing. Above all, Samantha was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed spending quality time with her family.

Samantha was born on January 22, 1976, in New Albany, Indiana, to Carl and Alice (Ashworth) Daugherty. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alice Hines and Carl Daugherty.

Samantha is survived by her sons, Eric (Lindsay) McPherson, Darryl (Jessie) Mundy, and Joshua (Madelyn) Bagshaw; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Bagshaw; her grandson, Christopher Bagshaw; 5 sisters; 4 brothers; and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Samantha's memory be made to The American Cancer Society to help fund breast cancer research (900 East Main Street, Louisville, KY 40206).
