Sally Lee Robinson Brady, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024. She was born on August 30, 1938 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Lee Harlan and Cecyl Belle Robinson. Sally was a graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky with a B.S. in Chemistry and, later in life, graduated from Bellarmine University with a B.S. in Accounting. She spent many years as a homemaker and was active in community service. She was a member of the Younger Women's Club of Louisville. Sally was an avid collector of art and antiques. Her pursuit of these activities took her everywhere from flea markets, estate sales, to fine antique stores. Motivated by her interest in antiquities, she traveled to several countries including Russia and China. Sally was a voracious reader and was well known at her local branch of the Louisville Free Public Library. She loved to garden. She created and surrounded herself with beautiful things. Sally was a member of Southeast Christian Church and, later in life, a member of Beargrass Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Anne Howard.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Libby Cooper; son, Burns Mack Brady, Jr. (Jennifer); and grandchildren, Derrick, Dallas, Lee, and Walter.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A service to celebrate Sally's life will follow visitation at 3:00 PM that day at the funeral home.
