Sally Jean "Brown Sugar" Williams, 64, passed away on July 6, 2014, at Jewish Hospital after a short illness. She was born on August 25, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late Vernon and Ella Williams. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Sally is survived by her fiancee of 33 years, Nelson Willis, Jr.; children, Karen Williams Huff(Jeffrey) and Charles Deshawn Williams; siblings, Larry Williams (Rosetta), Vernon Williams, Jr., Isabell Fortney, Sue Reynolds and Sarah Williams; grandson, Iroqouise Scott and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Sally will be Friday, July 11, 2014, from 5pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). Her funeral service will be Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 10am at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be at Green Meadows Cemetery.
