Ruth Naomi Nicholson, 57, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and loved music and fishing.
She was born on July 22, 1965, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late George Stepp and Elizabeth (Parker) Stepp. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Stepp.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Jeff Nicholson; daughter, Emily Whitler; siblings, Joe Stepp, Clifford (Karen) Stepp, Bill (Lynn) Stepp, and Paula (Tom) Uhl; stepchildren, Hannah Mifflin and Matthew Nicholson; grandchildren, Brooke, Kai, Josephine, and Piper; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Cremation was chosen following Ruth's wishes, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
