Ruth Rita Nally

Ruth Rita Meurer Nally, age 91, of Louisville, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 15, 2018. She was born on June 10, 1926 in Louisville. Ruth was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an awesome cook, seamtress and homemaker. She had so many gifts and talents. She was a model of Proverbs 31. Hospitality was her middle name. Ruth will be missed by so many loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Henry "Hank" Nally; and infant daughter, Gwyndolen; three sisters and one brother.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Rick Nally (Pat) and Barton Nally; daughter, Deborah Zook (Mike); 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Good Samaritan Society in Jeffersontown for their loving care.

Visitation will be 2-8 pm Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Ruth's life will be 11 am Wednesday, January 24th at the funeral home, followed by interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
