Ruth B. Henriksen

Ruth B. Henriksen died at at age 88. The longtime resident of Louisville died Sunday April 13, 2014 at Lakepoint Medical Center in Rowlett, Texas after a long bout with pneumonia. She has lived in Texas for the last several years.
Ruth was married for 44 years to the late Joseph B. Henriksen. She was predeceased by her sons Joseph and Thomas Henriksen.

Ruth was a Jefferson County schoolteacher for many years at both Southern Jr. as well as Highland Jr. High Schools.
She attended for many years and served as an Elder at Meadowview Presbyterian Church.

After retirement she served as President of the Audubon Park Garden Club for 2 years as well as was Chairperson of Audubon Park's annual Dogwood Festival.

She was survived by her sons John-spouse Kay, Steve,Tim-spouse Terrie, and grandchildren Joan, Joseph and Jeffery.
