Russell Levon Sturgeon, 35, of Fredricksburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Russell was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed helping others. Growing up near a lake, Russell became an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed motorcycle and small engine repair in his spare time. He was an animal lover and had 3 dogs and 7 cats that he loved very much.
He was born on June 30, 1987 in Louisville, Kentucky to Danny "Rusty" and Linda (Carter) Sturgeon. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Jean and Orlynn "Von" Levon Carter, Junie Mae and Sherman Perkins, & Maggie and Russell M. Sturgeon.
Russell is survived by his loving parents, Linda and Rusty Sturgeon; his sister, Susan C Sturgeon; and many other extended family members.
