Ruby Ruth Rittmann, 92, passed away on January 19, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Allen and Mary Elizabeth Simmons; husbands, James Basham and Egon Rittmann; brothers, J.T. Simmons, Louis M. Simmons, Emmett C. Simmons and Allen W. Simmons; sisters, Nell DeVan Simmons, Charlotte B. Simmons and Suenette Simmons; son-in-law, Danny Kay Dudgeon and mother-in-law, Charlotte Summers

Ruby leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Wesley Hoskins; daughter, Elizabeth "Annie" Dudgeon; grandchildren, Adam Dudgeon and Amy Dudgeon; great-grandchildren, Henry Dudgeon and Adasia Eaton; great-great-granddaughter, Kaylani Eaton; bonus granddaughter, Katelyn (Daniel) Stephens; bonus great-grandchildren, Keira Stephens, Kahner Stephens, Brooke Stephens, Elijah Stephens, Niya Stephens, Haisley Stephens and Skye Stephens; sister-in law, Stacey (Eugene) Berg and brother-in-laws, Frank (Christine) Hoskins and Kevin Hoskins.

Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Ruby's life beginning at 1pm.

Ruby will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens-West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
