Ruby Mae (Wineinger) Foster, 84, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018. She was a devoted fan of IU Basketball, but her true love was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruby was born on November 16, 1933, in Washington County, Indiana, to the late Oscar and Carrie (Humphrey) Wineinger. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Foster; son, Kim Foster; and siblings, Kermit, Gene, Lloyd and Ray Wineinger, and Opal Taylor.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Tonya Hollins (Daniel); grandchildren, Cody Foster (Hanna), Kelsey Snider (Eian), Kayla Foster and Renee Roederer (Ian); and great-grandchildren, Thorin and Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
