Ruby Jewel Brear, age 92 passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009. She is survived by her daughter Joyce Short; son, James Bentley; 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Burial was private. A celebration in the life of Mrs. Brear will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Louisville, Ky.
