Roy E. Simpson, 46, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Monday evening, July 26, 2010 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Roy was a welder for Robinson Foundry in New Albany, Indiana and was also employed at John Dillinger Dairy Farm in Jeffersonville.
He was born on September 4, 1963 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Roy and Betty Marie (Hall) Simpson.
Roy is survived by his sisters, Rhonda Sult and her husband, Walter, of Louisville, Kentucky, RoseAnn Dixon and her husband, Roger, of Jeffersonville, Christine Simpson of Madison, Indiana, and a brother, Robert Simpson of New Albany; nephews and one niece, June Haggard, Roger A. Dixon, Jerry and Jake Sult; his ex-wife, RoseMary Simpson; and a step-daughter, Jennifer.
Following Roy's wishes, cremation was chosen. Burial will be private at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany. Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana is in charge of the arrangements.
