Roy Leo Denison

Roy Leo Denison, 72, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014. He retired from Gateway Press after 35 years of service as well as from the Kentucky Air National Guard. After his retirement, Roy also worked in retail at JC Penney, Meijer, and the Kroger Company. Roy was a Freemason and was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville.

Roy was born on November 19, 1941 in Davis County, Kentucky to the late John and Cora Mae (Hamilton) Denison. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael "Joe" Denison.

He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Martha J. (Norris) Denison; daughter, Maria Denison; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
