Roy Lee Buford, 33, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
He was born a twin on November 9th, 1989 to Ms. Damita Jo Buford and Mr. Roy Lee Brasher.
He was a student of Culinary and Welding and had a goal of attending barber school and had a passion and skill for sports. Being a father he was especially proud of and great at being.
Roy is preceded in death by his twin brother, Royce Buford.
Roy is survived by his two daughters, Adaysha S. Lee-Burford and Aniya J. Lee-Buford; mother, Damita Jo Buford; father, Roy Lee Brasher; brothers, Demetrius Buford, Dontay Spillman; sisters, Kristen Brasher and Royale Brasher; aunts, Mary James and Shawneequa Thompson; uncle, Ulysses Buford; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts uncles and extended family to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Roy's life will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
